TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
TabTrade - What It IsTab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker. That last detail matters. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience. The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker. What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid. What You Trade OnYou get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.Accounts and PricingThree levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.Execution SpeedThis is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.SafetyHere is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision. The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities. The BonusTabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit. The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, tabtrade pricing, and the bonus terms, get more info is at check here Trade The Day.
